Hypnobirthing had been on my horizon since training as a Clinical Hypnotherapist in 2008 but it wasn’t I until I became pregnant that I knew the timing was right for me to specialize in Hypnobirthing. I chose to train with Katherine Graves Hypnobirthing (KG Hypnobirthing) whose course is accredited by the Royal College of Midwives and I loved every minute of it.
Immediately putting all my learning into practise ensured that my pregnancy and birth was an incredibly special time, even in the face of adversity. You can read my full birth story here.
I studied Psychology and Philosophy at university and later trained as a Clinical Hypnotherapist in 2008 with The Institute of Clinical Hypnosis based at King’s College, London. As well as having a career in the charity sector as an Events Manager, I saw private clients and volunteered at Paul’s Cancer Support Centre in Battersea as a stress management therapist.
Now I focus entirely on sharing my passion for birth with my clients and helping to empower women to be in control of their birth experiences. I also run The Positive Birth Movement Tooting which is part of a global network of free to attend antenatal groups, connecting pregnant women together to share stories, expertise and positivity about childbirth. Join our Facebook group to be a part of it!
